IN PARTNERSHIP WITH WORLD CENTRAL KITCHEN

Feeding the businesses and community of Oakland Chinatown

During the summer of 2020, we created and operated a food distribution hub in Chinatown. Working with World Central Kitchen, we channeled $2MILLION into over 20 restaurants to supply over 200,000+ free meals to Chinatown and the greater Oakland community, providing income to local businesses and food for our neighbors in need.

After becoming incarcerated at the age of 17, Michael spent 23 years in prison. Now, Michael loves to volunteer in the community, and was critical in our WCK operations.
