From the Bay to Atlanta Vigil

On Tuesday, March 23, 2021, our community gathered at Madison Park in Oakland Chinatown, California to mourn, honor, and celebrate the lives lost in Atlanta.  We took a collective deep breath and came back to what grounded us - community, culture, and ceremony.

Sending Love to Atlanta

At the vigil, we asked our community to send their love to those we lost, their families, and the Atlanta community at large. Here is the collection of messages from the Bay to Atlanta.  We hope you find healing and a renewed energy for solidarity and to fight for our collective liberation from the violence of racism and misogyny.
